Can I put a 427 gm engine in my 1989 Chevy c 1500

Looking for more power out of my truck currently have a
Chevy small block 350 but was wondering if I could fit in a
427 GM engine in my 1989 Silverado 1500  without having
to change too much around

This is basically a bolt in job with the right parts since your truck had the option of a big block. I think you will need a better transmission though. It won't be smog legal if that matters.
