Question type: Shopping & Pricing

So i guess the word Aftermarket Upgrade is BS? That is why my truck
makes another 90 HP and 180 Ft Lbs of torque that cost me $1000? That is
not an upgrade and messed up the truck? Is that why I paid $580 for the
Stainless Steel Steps that are better than the factory steps that is not an
upgrade? The Tonneau Cover that cost $1400 is not an Upgrade that keeps
your stuff Dry when you carry it in the back of the truck? The fitted Weather
Tech Floor Mats that keep water and dirt from destroying your carpets in the
truck is not an Upgrade. You people are wrong in your opinion of upgrades
and the belief that they destroy the Vehicle means you think I haven't done
any research on the Items I have installed in my Truck. Wake up and smell
the BS you are shoveling. Time to change my Trucks price back to Fair Price
as it was when I posted the truck.

Some additions like a bed cover are worth something. Engine upgrades void warranties and smog laws I avoid them like the plague.

Keep in mind that your additions are used stuff now and only worth what you might be able to sell them for on Craig's List. Upgrades are spent money, not an investment. Describe your truck and ask whatever you want. People will decide for themselves.

Right, price the vehicle whatever you want to get out of it. I hope you find a buyer, but also be realistic. You are asking why the IMV on this site rates your vehicle fair vs good, it is all based on prices of other like vehicles with like mileage and year and doesn't take upgrades in consideration. It's a computer program with no human intervention. Visit the help link to find out more about IMV and how this site works.
