Why dont you list and have the seller state whether this
car has ever been smoked in. It needs to be a yes or no it
hasnt been smoked in..No answer they dont know is an
option about this car. I would not even think about a car
that has. List cars that are non smoked in a selected
section of you listings

It would be nice for non smokers like you said, but No one is going to admit it, neither a seller or dealer. They will clean it and deodorize it first.

Not all cars are one owner. You can't expect people to know the entire history of the car.
