Building a HOT ROD!

Asked by Hassan_Aslam Jan 11, 2020 at 04:31 PM

Question type: Car Customization

I’m very new to car projects and all that but i
have had a huge interest in it lately I’m based
in Pakistan and have a 1943 willys jeep it’s
chassis is very nice with little to no rust and I
want to convert it into a hot-rod could some
one inform me on how to do so and guide me
with the basics on what to do. It would really
help me as here in Pakistan it’s really difficult
to work on such projects without any
knowledge (This won’t be a daily driver just a
cruiser and I won’t be needing a very
demanding engine just enough to make the
rear tires spin a bit)

Find a really good welder and fabricator. A Toyota 22R engine might be what you want.

I would not hot rod it. There is a big following of military vehicles in the US. There is a huge shoe in Pleasanton, CA every year. People bring tanks, WWII landing craft, Jeeps, Artillery, everything you can imagine. Check it out first.
