What is hail damage impact to value

Is the damaged fixed yet? Does it show up on the Carfax? Then I would treat it like any other car with damage and make sure the body and paint work was done properly.

If the vehicle was considered a total loss because of it, plenty! It will most likely have a salvage title. Once that happens there's all kinds of red tape that you need to go through to get a rebuilt status title so you can register and drive the vehicle on the road. Not worth it in my opinion.
