Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have someone wanting me to bring the car for them to test drive in their city
60 miles away.  I always thought a buyer came to the seller?

Yes, if the buyer really wants to the car, they can come to you. I personally won't drive 60 miles to do a test drive. Maybe meet halfway? It's up to you how you want to handle the deal.

If they are serious they will come to you. I would not go farther than the nearest grocery store parking lot unless you are desperate to sell it.

Oh no, of course not, but I certainly wouldn't expect the seller to deliver it to me 60 miles away just to test drive as a potential buyer. I have no information on this person other than a first name. It just sounds like a scam to me. If they like it, and want to drive it, they should come see it and drive it. Thanks for you input! I've sold a lot of cars and I've never been asked to do this but then it's a whole different world out there. I'm a lot more leery about transactions than I use to be. It's a great car, maintained better than I was, so you get where I'm coming from. Happy New Year!
