I'm getting a rapid clicking and starts when it
wants now nothing is that the solenoid on a
starter

The click is probably the relay and could be a sign of a weak battery. Can you test it with your multimeter? it should be over 12V to properly start a vehicle. If you can't, try jump start the car and if you get it running, drive over the auto parts store for a new battery.

Thanks buddy I just got the AutoZone to check the battery, starter and alternator. Battery had 13 v they said all 3 checked out good but I think the solenoid or a relay is going out.

And if the truck jump's off what would you think I just thought starter solenoid simply because of that rapid clicking and it would not crank and I had to keep turning it back and forth and it would take a while but it would have been chili Frank
