2009 Honda crv 4 wheel drive.

Rear wheels not engaged in drive position
although vehicle is supposed to be permanent
4×4. Anyone got any ideas.

Your car is not permanent 4WD, it is part time AWD which means you only get the rear wheels to drive when the computer decides it is time to engage them.
