Repace battey and wont fully crank over

My friend has a 2015 Ford Focus SE. We replaced
the battery and it wont fully crank over. Yes the
vehicle has fuel in it. The wires are properly
connected. The negative post was corroded which
is clean. Im out of ideas, looking for advice and tips
just incase something was missed

As fsr as cranking goes, where the motor just spins. Will it do this for as long as you attempt to start it and it just wont start or does it attempt to turn over and just stop altogether
