Are we talking a 5.4 Triton engine? If so this is doable but probably won't be smog legal.

How so? You saying it physically can bolt into the frame and mounts but I'd have to change exhaust and or cats?

Since the 5.4 Lightning stopped the year before your truck it won't be smog legal but don't take my word for it. Ask a smog tech in your state.

Oh I see what you saying. I didn't know it stopped.

What about supercharged Triton or even a straight 5.4 Triton ? If I absolutely had to just to has the v8, I would even go with the 4.6. I just wanna know if it fits the frame and mounts bolts and converter

You could build your own with a supercharger kit but if you take my advice about buying a V8 truck you will be money ahead not to mention the headaches you will have doing a V6 to V8 swap.
