What exactly does a Salvage title mean. And
what will the buyer be taking on if they were
to purchase one

You may be taking on the car from hell. Salvage means floods, accidents, fire, theft etc.

Salvage titles can also affect insurance costs, check with your agent before buying something with a salvage title.
