Question type: Shopping & Pricing

If I’m on California and found a truck on the
nationwide search on east coast if I decide I
want to purchase that vehicle is it shipped
free or is that on the dealer or me to figure
out?

No one is going to ship a car coast to coast for free. East coast cars tend to be rust buckets so be careful! Not only that but you must make sure the car is California smog legal. You cannot import 49 state cars into Kalifornia, the land of fruits and nutters.

    Does CarGurus arrange for shipping if the seller is a private seller vs a dealer? Not asking them to cover the cost, just make the arrangements from a qualified outfit
