Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram v6 magnum that will
shift one time from take off then I have to let off the
gas for it to shift into higher gears is this the
modulator valve

It could be , there may be a cable but I doubt it , a computer probably picks shift points and there may be solenoids , make sure fluid is O.K. of course .
