Unless "As-Is" is specifically printed in large letters in the purchase agreement, there is no As-Is transaction from a legal car dealer. And in your case, In California at least, this is enough to un-do a transaction. You must have gotten a warranty with this purchase, even if it's only thirty days. If the dealer is unreasonable, go the your local court and get a lawyer referral. An attorney will usually provide a few minutes to listen to your problem and provide guidance.

Did you test drive the car before or have a mechanic inspect it? A CRV is a Honda BTW.
