2004 Ford Explorer xlt

Only driver's door has key access, key won't unlock door.
Keyless entry pin will only work sometimes, most of the
time it will pop the rear hatch on the second or third try.
From there we use the power lock switch inside the rear
hatch to open the rest of the doors.

suspect the battery connection with several grounds, 1. to the engine 2. to the chassis, either /neither or both have some corrosion, after all 2004 is a long time to endure thermal cycling and environmental changes~
