98 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder auto trans

Will a 98 mitsubiti eclipse GS granny fit
into my 98 spyder ? The transmissions
are on opposite sides of each car..

The GS used the non-turbo 420a motor shared with Dodge Neon and the Spyder was a turbo block. The Spyder transmission is a bit beefier vs the GS and I don’t believe they are direct swap.
