I changed the battery on my 2012 f150 and
now it won’t start and won’t crank

If you didn’t use the saver tool before you removed main power you have put the security system in full shut down, as each vehicle is different you will need to refer to the owners manual for the correct shut down procedure. Once you get the engine running check your accessories to make sure they all work properly cause on some rigs if they loose main power it wipes the BCM of all presets and if that happens the accessories won’t work and you will have to unfortunately go to the dealer and have it re-flashed to match the VIN.
