2005 Cadillac deville I parked on an
incline when I backed up now no
matter what gear it's in it goes in
reverse and the reverse lights stay on.
The shifter lever on the transmission is
moving so it's not the linkage now the
car wont even jump off

When it was starting no matter what gear u put it in the car went in reverse. If I put it in drive it went backwards low it went backwards but park was park but now it tries to turn over when I jump it but it wont start

If the battery is 3 years old or older it's time for a replacement.low battery voltage could be part of the issue,start with replacing battery and see how it reacts.

well i have troubleshooted it from fuses relays and battery the only thing left is the neutral safety switch and it inside the transmisson ugh...thanks for your help. you rock
