Dealership add-on fees

Which fees am I responsible for and which am I not, when buying a new or used vehicle. I live in Illinois.

For new cars the only fees you must pay are the ones on the factory window sticker (but not the added fees the dealer puts on which are listed separately). Used cars I would only pay the tax and registration.
