Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 chevey equinox don't overheat but I have
to put water or coolant back into the over flow
every day. If I don't have my AC on then it runs a
little hot.

Runs hot without the AC Usually it's the other way around. The AC makes the cooling fans run. If car overheats without the AC on, then the fans aren't running when needed. You have a defect in that system. Turn on the AC and see if they run. If they do, you probably just have a defective engine coolant temperature sensor. If they don't, you have a blown fuse or relay, defective fan clutch or wiring, bad fan temperature switch, or bad fan motors.
