My check engine light came on car
runs great I made sure the fluids are at
the correct levels not sure what else to
check what should I check what are
some common problems that a check

What is year--make--model? Any applicable trouble codes? How long since a tune-up? As far as tune-up and cel, usually my first thought is 02 sensor, but, it could be almost anything. Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction Around here some of the national brand auto stores will check po codes for free. Just my opinion. good luck
One of the cars sensors is detecting a value that is out of range. If the car is running fine, that it good. It gives you time to scan the car for the OBDii trouble code and correct it. A generic code scanner is around $20, have an auto parts store do it for free or have your mechanic look it over.
