New battery vw cabrio

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Do the car needs to be reset somehow after I put a new
battery in the car?  Turns on lights and sounds like its going
to start, but it doesn't.

Try a jump start. Or put it on a charger for 30 minutes. It sounds like the new battery came to you weak or discharged.
