Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 94 chevy 1500 runs great until it warms up
then it smokes and loses power? It doesn’t smell
like antifreeze but more like burnt gas I changed
the plugs and they were really loaded with carbon?
The motor was changed in it they put headers on it
and there is a plug on the exhaust that’s not plugs
in to any thing?
