Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have tbe pedal to the floor but the car is going super slow
and it says reduced engine performance. Happened when i
slammed the hood after putting in power steering fluid. I
slammed the hood the car cut off and started doing this
when i started it back up. How do i fix this?

Reduced Engine Speed is there because the car senses a problem so great that it considers further driving to be harmful to the car. It's difficult to imagine how slamming a hood could cause such a problem that would cause the car to do this, but f something was loose, or maybe corroded, it might have let go. I don't think the addition of PS fluid had anything to do with this. You need a mechanic to find this potentially serious fault.
