Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having trouble starting my
2007 Volkswagen Jetta. The key
goes in fine and turns far enough
to unlock steering wheel. Then it
just won't turn far enough to start
the car. Help please!

Before you go to the expense of replacing the ignition lock cylinder, which would also involve programming a new set of keys to the car, check that the lock cylinder doesn't have some obstruction in it preventing it from fully turning.
