2013 ram remote start

I bought a used 2013 ram s/t. It has
remote start on the key fob, but
doesn’t work. Was my truck equipped
with it? How can I tell?

Have you tried pressing the lock button before pressing the start button, also it could be worn out from being used, one of my old cars had that same problem, I ordered a cheap key fob shell online with the rubber buttons in it and just took the swapped the buttons over and it started working
