1/2 ton or 3/4 ton

I am looking into getting a 4x4 suburban for recreational
outgoing 1st one is a 1994 2500 2nd is a 1995 1500
I will be installing lift kit to get 35 or 37 inch tires
Bumpers and winch on front bumper only thing I have to
tow is a trailer for know may get a boat later on but fo r
know an overland vehicle for beach and hill country
camping what do you suggest.
