I have a 2001 Ford Expedition XLT with 296k miles, V8 5.4
Triton an I was wondering what oil to get?

Whatever you have been using apparently works just great. I have a 2002 with 210,000 miles and I run 5W20 conventional oil with LiquiMoly. Use a top quality oil filter.
