It appears that trying to buy a car from a private seller is next to impossible on CarGurus?

Trying to buy a used car from a private seller on CarGurus just does not work at all. One must really be able to talk on a phone to question a seller for a sale to work at all. I would not recommend your site to any private car seller as this site just frustrates cash car sales to the point of giving up.

Okay, now I just lost all interest in trying to use this site to buy a car from a private seller!

buying private is more work on buyers end. Listings on Cargurus have sellers email. if your offer isn' reasonable the seller won't respond. you also need to set up profile with pic of drivers license for validation. you also save thousands buying private, dealers abuse buyers
