Most cars with an automatic trans will have both. What is your concern?

Most cars these days do not have a transmission dipstick. Most have an engine oil dipstick but not all cars do. I think you will have to check each car you are interested in.

My concern is that I do not trust cars where I can not check fluid levels myself. I have not been looking for a new in 19 years and was unaware to find that many new cars today don't have transmission dipsticks and may not have an engine oil dipstick either. Try a 2016 thru 2019 Jaguar F-type and see what you find. And I am told BMW's have been that way since 2009. I have owned 4 new cars and probably 4 used cars also in my time. The ONLY one that required a rebuild of my transmission was a 2000 Jaguar XJR. When the mechanic dropped my tranny after code failures and limp mode, my fluid was black; not dark red or brown. BLACK. All because I could not check my own fluid on a regular basis (sealed transmission). I diligently checked all fluids regularly other than tranny on that car. At this point, I think I would rather buy some other off brand that had both both dipsticks.
