Take your pick. They're both equally unreliable. Modern cars are fraught with potential troubles & expenses from the systems built into them. Look at reviews on line, especially Consumer Reports list of Most Reliable Cars..... You'll always remember your first car and you'll want to make that a positive memory. Set your goals on aesthetically pleasing, reliable transportation that's easy and inexpensive to maintain. Any Toyota or Honda fits that, and many Mazda's. Pass on any car that seems questionable in the least, and wait for that "diamond-in-the-rough," and always have a knowledgeable mechanic check any car you get serious about buying. Make your first purchase a great car at a great price, and a well thought-out decision.
