Last Chevy Cruze built at lordstown plant
Hi! Needing some input. Will the last chevy cruze made
at the gm lordstown plant be a collectible to some. The
history behind the car and the signs left in the trunk for
memorabilia and the couple people who signed the car.
It's in the world news. And whT bout the original
paperwork inside the car from the plant and the car
manifest and checklist of every department checked off?
I was the one who wrote the signs inside the trunk and
only one from my company to drive it when it came
directly out of the plant. My initials are inside on the
trunk liner lol sad I lost my job but glad to be part of
history. I have pics and videos of it all.
Being the last of a model never seemed to create a collector demand in other defunct car models, so I can't see it happening for the Chevy Cruze either, especially as the model's only been around for 10 years.
I remember when the last 2007 Ford Taurus rolled off the assembly line in Detroit, before shutting the plant forever and moving production to Mexico. I believe they gave the car as a gift to the guy who owned the restaurant across the street. I would rather own that Taurus than the now defunct restaurant.
Local guy bought it. It's still on display for people to view it at the dealership. The owner hasn't come forward yet.
