New led headlights
I have standered light bulbs in my 2015 Ford
Taurus self and I bought new 9012 LED light I
switched one tested it nothing. I tested the
new light with a battery and it works put it
back in the car and nothing.
Did you buy Plug and Play set of lights? If so try reversing the socket, some LED's are polarized and will only work one way. Some vehicles have load sensing in the supply circuits so if the polarity reversal didn't work, then try putting in both lamps and see if they turn on. The only other thing I can think of is you need a capacitor kit for the lamps, but as it is a Ford you should not need them. I've switched both of my rigs to LED's and my neighbor was so impressed with the my lights he had me switch his rig (and it's a Ford) to the some LED's, and now he's really happy with his lights.
I will try both lights at the same time and than flip the plug, Taurus light suck so I hope this works I need them.
