Accommodating wheelchair transfer

Question type: General

I have a wife with a disability that requires her to be transfer from her
wheelchair to the front seat of our 2001 Honda Accord. There is just enough
room to make the transfer when the door is wide open. There isn't enough
room to transfer her to the back seat. If I need to replace the Accord what
cars (new or used) can best accommodate the transfer - i.e. have a wide
enough opening?

You probably need a large 4 door car. Try American cars or maybe a Toyota Avalon.
