THE SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID IS PART OF THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY. IT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED TO SOLVE YOUR ISSUE. SORRY FOR THE NEWS BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS. THEY ARE AROUND 170.00 CDN.

For people’s further reference; On the other side of the plastic lever exposed under the driver-side circle is a metal rod that goes up and down. If depressing the brake + pushing the plastic lever doesn’t work, you can uses a philips screwdriver to loosen the gear panel and the whole gear casing to get at that metal rod. Gently pushing it upward will release the gear stick from Park. Probably it will lock again when you return to Park, but you can repeat that until you get it fixed properly. https://youtu.be/NkJx0Phvmbc
