Brakes & Steering on a '60 BelAir

Asked by ChevyGuy1960 Feb 29, 2020 at 09:34 PM about the Chevrolet Bel Air

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just purchased a '60 BelAir with 4-wheel drum brakes and factory suspension & PS.  Intend to change front brakes to PDB's.  Was told that changing the control arms would make a big difference in the handling and turning, so I may do that as well when I have it in the air.  Already has sway bars on it.  Wondering if anyone else has updated the control arms on a '60 and just how much difference it actually made.  Comments anyone?
