Question type: Car Customization

My truck is a 2015 GMC 2500 SLT double cab with a 6.5ft box. It has the diesel engine. I
use it to pull my 39ft 5th wheel that weighs about 13000Lbs. I want to lower it to make it
easier to enter and exit.

the 2500s are new for 2015. the 1500s changed for 2014. there is usually a 6 month lag in parts when a new model comes out. parts may not be available yet to lower your truck. when you do, you may need to consider airbags in the back to keep it from sagging too much when you are towing..

They do make step running boards, you know, for munchkins... (j/k)

I'm disappointed that truck makers think taller is better. I saw a number of older trucks, 2008 2009, that are several inches lower then the new ones. The extra height makes loading things in the back more of a challenge not to mention getting in to unload. I'm sure it affects mileage as well.
