I have a 92 c1500 w/5.0.The coil is firing to the dist but no fire from the dist.Any ideas?

Yes, more than likely the rotor is burnt allowing the spark to go to ground. There will be a carbon spot in the middle of the underneath side of the rotor in the middle of it. I would suggest replacing the cap and rotor.
