How do the brake lights ground on a 2004 Chevy 1500. All the other lights work. Only the two in the bed and the one on the cab are giving me trouble

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The three brake lights on my 2004 Chevy 1500 are not working. Have 12 voltsto the
junction box at the back and all the other lights work. Just the brake lights are giving
trouble. Even the one on the cab.

If there are two wires to the brake lights then one of the wires is the ground. It will probably be black or green.
