It could be a bad pump relay, just because the pump ran on a bench does not mean its good, you need to check the pump pressure at the rails..
You say it did not run in the truck? If so then go with joemom's suggestion.
Do you get oil Pressure when the truck turns over, if not it's your oil pressure sensor. If you do not show oils pressure the computer will not allow the fuel pump to work, this was a safety feature mandated by the feds
