My 1998 chevy cheyenne 1500 4Wd 5.7 wstalls out and dies when outside temperature is above 70 degrees....

you should put a cooling fan in the engine compartment. It may be too hot

it has a cooling fan and it works. :) thinking something electrical???

does it come back to life with a restart or wait for cooldown?,sounds like cooldown wait,ok Ive experinced a CPS failure when hot on a few, a hot coil ,meaning dead when hot? cps a crank position sensor
