Won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1977 chevy Silverado with a 350 engine. I
started it a few days ago it ran for 10 minutes than
died, and hasn't started since I have been trying to
figure it out but nothing seems to work.

Battery cables are good. It cracks but does not start. Not getting any spark, changed out plugs and wires a few weeks ago so I changed out distributor cap and coil but still no luck

Not the rotor? The rotor under the cap will get a burn threw to ground causing a no spark. The other 2 things that may be your problem is the Ignition Control Module or the coil pickup both under the distributor cap. The coil pick-up has two wires running to it, slightly pull on them, usually one breaks. The distributor has to come out for replacement. ECM can be tested at Auto-Zone, but on this module make sure you put the dialectic grease under it before reinstalling it.
