Sorry but no reset is going to fix that. Unfortunately most if not all of the mechanisms for the vent doors and such are a major pita to service unless the dash is removed. Some of the forward bellows that actuate the doors can be accessed but it's not a quick fix by any means. The ratcheting is a gear lever that is worn and is skipping some teeth. If it works o.k. and does not bother you too much just let this one go. Good Luck!
