Was wanting to go with a slightly wider tire than what came from the dealership.

You probably have plenty of clearance so one or two sizes wider should work.

So what size would one size wider be? I've never been good at tire sizes... lol

Such as 285 or 295. If you go to 65 series you will keep the diameter roughly the same as stock tires.
