My old 4.7 overheated once due to a broken power steering pulley, and it ran wierd afterwards, anyway it turned out to be the ECT, doing a live data scan it first showed -40 degrees on startup, then went to +220 within a few seconds, then plunged down to +34, it was all over the place, replaced the ECT Sensor, made sure there were no pending codes then cleared the computer, did the drive cycle and all was good. So you may want to have the rig live data scanned to actually what is causing the problem.

I changed the up stream oxg.senser and didnt fix the probem what do i look for now what needs to be the next part to replace

Don't waste your money and time by just throwing parts on it hoping that you accidentally find the problem, get it scanned, then you know where your headed.

Need to isolate the misfire or bad injector. While running disconnect ignition coils one by one. Listen to change in motor. When you find the one that doesn't change. Pull that coil and check spark plug. Check for water on plug if everthing is fine with plug. Swap the coil with one you know was firing. If no change. So a compression test. If have odd reading or dead cylinder. Possibly rocker arm popped out of place on that cylinder. I've seen a few 4.7L do that. It's usually on passenger side. Still check cooling system for possible blowed head gasket. If cooling system is bubbling with cap off while running. Smell it and see if it smell like exhaust or gas

If one of the rockers did pop out of place. You can put it back without removing cam.
