This sounds like what is happening tonight with my 01 Dodge Ram. First it wouldn't start, then turned over slowly. Then none of the gauges worked..after driving around for 20 mins the gas gauge barely moved up and the volt gauge and temp only slightly. Not sure if the alternator is going or if I have a short somewhere or what?? Any help would be appreciated!

It could be a printed circuit on the back of the body of the clustter. If so it can be jumped out with a wire but you will have to dissassemble the dash.

my 98 ram 1500 attack and is good on there just quit working flat out. I had a new one that I had to solder the connections on the plug behind the desk. When it did the same thing I'm going to try that with this and see what happens. The cluster plugs right in so its like a hardware situation and the vibration eventually we can place order. On the green board. So are those back up and it should be fine
