2004 Neon SXT

Only has 47k miles. sat for 4 years because former owner bought a 2009 Charger. Starts like a champ, drives smoothe till I get over 2200 rpms then is sputters and dogs out, even when in park. No check engine lights at all. I am thinking tune up or fresh gas but the no check engine light worries me.

4 year old gas isn't ideal. Check all your fluid levels too - it's been sitting 4 years.Siphon out the old,fill with 93,put in some injector cleaner and see how that works.

did you notice any mouse nests; because, they love to chew on spark plug wires

might be in limp mode also, however the no code thing throws me for a loop. i'd have it scanned anyway just to see if there are any old stored codes
