what would make a 07 dodge neon quit while driving

97 dodge neon was running fin then quit running while driving now it will not start

was it running bad before it quit? or did it just shut down on you?

If the motor was running fine prior, I would think it is a timed ignition problem. This could either be in the fuel system or ignition system. I would first check the fuel pump. If your getting fuel then I would check the timing belt then the crank and cam sensors.

Hit any potholes? Does neon have anti theft? If you have a short in crankshaft sensor won't start until replaced. Use a test light 12v on #1 plug wire and try to start light will blink when you turn over no light is control module shouting down ASD
