I have a 1981 Chrysler COrdoba. I have a 2006 dodge dakota big V-8 good engine rusted out body and bad tranny. Can I put that engine into my 1981 Chrysler COrdoba 318

That will be a big job, you can get it to work but you will be putting the entire drive train (engine and locate a good transmission) in the Cordoba along with the electronics and you will need to modify the fuel delivery system to handle the high pressures required for the fuel injection. The Cordoba isn't really worth the effort or the expense.

Thank you very much. I have this great engine left on my truck 160,000 and the wiring on my Cordoba was really butchered up and the mechanic left me hanging. Just a thought.,

I had a 77 Doba with a big block 440 and beefed up 727 tranny put in it, a real sleeper car, powerful machine after the conversion, but when they went with this garbage they call fuel it just wasn't the same, sold it to a guy in Arizona. Hope he had as much fun wit it as i did.
