350, 305 motor question

Asked by Sep 16, 2017 at 11:09 AM about the Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 350 out of a 91 1500 and a 305 out of a 96
1500. The 305 went bad. How can I use both and
build a pretty beefy motor without boring,
Thanks in advance

Refresh the 350 with a better cam, exhaust, coils, and a higher-flow intake, you could swap heads too but that gets costly. 350 should bolt in place of the 305, then you'll have to reprogram ECU or get an aftermarket performance chip.
